**The right location**
Simply hang the hanging bird feeder in a cat-safe, partially shaded spot and fill it with good-quality bird food. Sunflower seeds (preferably shelled to prevent the husks from flying around) and chopped peanuts (the birds especially love these) are ideal. To support the decimated bird population, we recommend year-round feeding. If you want to feed in the spring as well, it's a good idea to keep the bird feeder away from the nearest nesting box.

Please note that our bird houses are painted with a weatherproof and bird-friendly water-based paint and should not be repainted! The smell of any thinner paint deters birds and also prevents repainting to refresh the colors later.
