Cleaning:
To clean the nesting box, simply remove the attached roof and sweep the inside of the birdhouse with a broom. Next, wipe the inside with a sponge and lukewarm water (no detergent!). Now you can replace the roof, and you're done. The nesting box should be cleaned once after each breeding season. Observe the house for a few days beforehand to make sure no guests are staying there.
Special features:
Please note that our bird houses are painted with a weatherproof and bird-friendly water-based paint and should not be repainted! The smell of any thinner paint deters birds and also prevents repainting to refresh the colors later.
